Rick Jones recently joined the real estate profession to utilize his broad private industry experience, pursue a long-held desire to serve others on a more personal, one to one basis and spend more time with his wife Wendy, also a Realtor® for more than a decade.
Prior to becoming a Realtor®, Rick served as CEO for two different private equity backed companies where he was responsible for the continued growth, planning, investment, sales and marketing, legal, technology, financial and operational strategies and execution for those organizations, each with over 1,500 employees and tens of thousands of customers. It was in these CEO roles that Rick came to both appreciate and embrace the concept of the Servant-Leader, that by serving those upon whom you depend, a win-win outcome is created for all. Having led the successful sales process of entire companies on multiple occasions, it wasn’t long before Rick understood how those experiences could be used assist potential clients and customers in other complex transactions such residential and commercial real estate and the various nuances they entail, from financing options, sales and marketing approaches, contractual and governmental requirements and client representation – understanding the right questions to ask and the right resources and skill sets to bring together for a successful outcome.
Rick holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business and a Masters in Business Administration. Rick also serves as an outside Board Director of a Private Equity backed software company, is a member of the Austin Council of Entrepreneurs (ACE) and is an Advisory Board member of three other technology enabled companies in the AI, Transportation, and Human Resources arenas.
